Oxfam
I filled out the form below and handed it in, in person, at the branch I wanted to work at.
Afterwards, I received a call from the manager at Oxfam asking if I could come in for a health & safety training. After that I started volunteering twice a week; Monday from 2.30pm to 4pm and Sundays from 12pm to 4pm.
I mainly worked behind-the-scenes. I alternated between pricing/sorting clothes and steaming clothes. I also hung clothes on the rails in the shop and worked briefly at the till.
Below is the form showing my attendance over a month.

I've never had a paid job before, so going in every week and working for several hours was a new experience for me. It gave me an insight into what it's like to work part-time and gave me the skills needed for the future, such as working quickly and efficiently and dealing with customers. Dealing with customers was new for me, so I developed my interpersonal skills.
Additionally, it was a very rewarding experience to be working in a charity shop. Knowing that what I was doing was helping raise money for resources for people in developing countries meant that I was very committed to going every week. It felt that what I was doing was of global importance since I was helping those less fortunate.
